Beautiful Wine Fridge

We love this new wine fridge, which replaced one that quit working after 4 years.
We love the interior lighting that can be set to be on all the time, only when the fridge is open or not at all. Also the shelves are high quality and slide easily. In the past our Pinot noir bottle labels were scraped by too narrow of shelves but in this fridge they fit fine. Last of all we love the display shelf which is a feature we didn’t have before. Overall we have been very happy with the new wine fridge for the past few weeks. Hopefully it’s build to last!

Really Nice!

This is a really nice wine fridge and I'm very happy to have chosen this one. If there is one thing though that I wish was different, is I wish there were wheels on the bottom. It has rubber, adjustable feet which is good but forget about moving it if it's on a wood floor and loaded up with wine. This is a minor thing though so I wouldn't want to ding it for that.

The shelves move in and out very smoothly and like others have said, if you have taller bottles, you can't fit those front and back on the shelves so you do lose some capacity if that's the case. I think this is found in most all of the counter-depth fridges so again I'm not going to ding it.

Overall, I'm very pleased with this fridge. It looks very nice in our kitchen and we've had many positive comments about it from friends and family. We've had it for about 3 months as of this review.

Nice Looking Unit

This is the second one delivered. The first one seemed to run fine but didn't cool at all. Suspect missing refrigerant. Also the first one had streaks between the door glass panes that you can't clean. The box says EdgeStar on it too. Compressor not too loud. Cooled down (empty) to the minimum 40deg in about 1-1/2 hrs. Most of the rack spacing is fine. Pinot's and Syrah's larger bottles do rub on some shelves but there are other shelves that won't rub to put them on. Overall, happy with the cooler although I feel I need about $100 back for the 2hrs I spent packing up the first cooler for shipping . Why 4 stars not 5? To get an cooler where the refrigerant leaked out or was never charged is the reason, after all the manufacturer chooses the company and decides they are good enough to put their name on it. This company could improve their manufacturing process.

The cooler is well built and functions as advertised. My only negative comment is that with the new design of some wine bottles (larger base diameter), many do not fit in the racks and close without forcing and scraping the labels. There needs to be more adjustment rather than just removing shelves because that reduces the bottle capacity.
